SMS Opt-In Process

This public page documents how tournament players voluntarily consent to transactional text messages from Brackets Manager. The actual signup begins at Sign Up to Play.

How consent is collected

  1. A player opens the public signup page and enters the six-digit code supplied by the tournament operator.
  2. The player may provide a mobile number. Providing a mobile number is optional.
  3. The player must affirmatively select the transactional SMS checkbox shown below to receive messages. It is blank by default and is not required to create an account, register, or participate.
  4. A separate blank checkbox is used for marketing consent. Transactional consent does not authorize marketing messages.
